I've thought about doing a Team Hoyt profile - either Dick individually or for the father-and-son - for a while, and I can't bring myself to go through with it mainly because - as personal family friends (mainly of my father's) it's too much. I'd known them both since I was a little kid and was blown over by how much it took to do what they did annually. For not only both to pass away so recently (Dick in 2021 and Rick three months ago this year), but also Brian Lyons (who was meant to take over for Dick and died before either of them in 2020 at the height of the pandemic), who my family also knew, over these past three years has been an emotionally gut wrenching experience. I don't think I could write the profile objectively and what's more it would be even harder than the Pete Frates profile which was also a draining experience. But they're both definitely celebrities - probably even in the sports hero category - and could be an interesting job for someone not so close to the situation.

kittencat I have no idea what the policy is anymore relative to rapists, murderers, or especially shooters. If there's leniency towards the subject there's also Cristhian Bahena Rivera (Molly Tibbets case) to consider. I only know for certain I won't touching that profile with a ten foot pole (only reason I even suggest him is because he was name dropped in an Eminem track...)

Ricky I think it was around 2021-22 that the rules got more stringent if only due to the sheer volume of mass shootings that started taking place (although it might have been earlier, its hard to pinpoint as the thread discussing the matter was on the now defunct forum). I personally find the whole experience of writing those kind of profiles to be a draining one - I think the last time I attempted one was Dylann Roof in 2015 and part of me wishes I hadn't tried to do it at all frankly. Same thing with the Derek Chauvin profile
