Not a rhetorical question, why so much of a demand to claim this specific historical figure was black? While there are cases of historical figures whose black ancestry was downplayed such as the French Alexandre Dumas and the Mexican José María Morelos we do know they had that background. Couldn't Jada find some great ruler from the what are now the nations of Gabon, Cameroon, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Ghana etc., and make her a focus for a Hollywood documentary? You know putting the spotlight on some woman that history has mostly ignored who could inspire women of all races? And are the reviews I'm reading correct? Does this documentary really feature a man who is supposed to be a eunuch with a beard?
